1560 North Country Club Pkwy., Elkhorn, WI 53121, 262-723-6250 How did you get interested in GREEN Building? Four to five years ago, we heard the statement, "This is not our earth, but rather we're borrowing it from our children and our grandchildren". We founded our company shortly thereafter realizing what an awesome responsibility we have as builders and developers and have been committed to making a difference ever since. What is the best thing about being a "GREEN" HOME BUILDER? The best thing is knowing that we're making a difference; in the short term by saving our clients money in the operational costs of their home (reduced energy usage) and providing them a more healthy home to live in (reduced off-gassing) and in the long term by preserving our limited natural resources (building materials, landfill site, fuel and energy. What recommendations would you make to people interested in your product (or service)? We encourage potential clients to open their minds to "different". We ask them to consider the "other things" they use today that didn't exist just 10 years ago, and to spend some time with us learning about the "other things" our industry now has to offer and the benefits they will experience. What is your favorite product (or service) you offer? Geo-Thermal Heating/Cooling/Domestic Hot-Water Supply. Utilizing the constant temperature of the earth to our benefit makes our HVAC system 300-400% more efficient to operate. What is the hottest trend in your industry? Bamboo Flooring What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Spending time with my family; I had been so focused on my career for so long, that we did not start our family until after we launched our businesses, therefore, I have two young boys, Nicholas 3 years old, and Nathaniel 18 months old...we're having a ball helping and watching them grow up. Other comments or info you would like to share? Mission Statement: To design and build beautiful homes which are more comfortable to live in, less impacting to the environment, less expensive to operate and more valuable over time. We always create winning scenarios for our clients, our environment and our company. |
