Consumer & Mortgage Lender
Peoples Bank, Elkhorn, WI How many years have you been a Consumer & Mortgage Lender? I have been in banking for 10 years - over 5 of those years as a lender. What recommendations would you make to people interested in your product (or service) you offer? Make an appointment to sit down with a lender and see if refinancing is the right choice for you financially. What is your favorite product (or service) you offer? Our home equity products make it easy for customers to pay off debt, purchase a vehicle, take a vacation or make improvements on their home. Peoples Bank offers fantastic rates and are quick to close after approval. The best part, though, is that each customer really is a personal story for us. We take the time to listen and get to know their unique situation. We don't squeeze people into a program; we just find the right fit for them at the best deal possible. What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I love spending time with my 2 children who are 3 & 6. They are growing very quickly and have busy activity schedules. We set aside family night every weekend to play games, watch a movie, or do both. What is the smartest thing your company did? Open the doors in Elkhorn. Having a community bank in Elkhorn has been a great addition to the town. We make quick decisions and have our lenders right in the Elkhorn office. The bank does a great deal to incorporate itself into the town and surrounding areas. And we're very excited about becoming the founding supporter of The Elkhorn Fund. Further, all of our employees participate in and donate time and resources to building the greater Walworth County area-after all, we live and work here too. What is the hottest trend in your industry? Interest rates continue to get lower, which makes the trend for 2008 to refinance or use a home equity product for debt consolidation or home improvements. What's new at your company? We are continuosly growing our product base. We offer investments, insurance, health savings accounts, loans, mortgages and many products to fit small to large business including remote deposit. Other comments or information you would like to share? Peoples Bank offers the use of our community room for non-profit organizations to use. We also are very involved with the schools and teaching all ages how to save for the future or get credit and maintain a good credit history. Being a part of the community is what we are all about. |
